Welcome to Hot Yoga Inc!

We do not expect you to know anything about yoga. Just show up! It is like learning to ride a bike. After your tenth class you will be on your way.

The room is hot and you will be working hard. It will take a few classes just to get used to being in the heat. Do not give up! We all experience it. It is a process with great rewards. You will soon discover the heat is a powerful tool to open and detoxify your body and mind, unlike anything else.

Register! It’s As Easy As 1, 2, 3!

  1. Fill out the registration form here.
  2. You need a yoga mat, large bath towel, and large bottle of water for class. You can purchase these items in our boutique, or bring them with you.
  3. Our new student special must be purchased at the studio. Please arrive 30 minutes early (just for your first class) and bring payment and valid government issued ID.

For your first class:

  • Arrive 30 minutes early.
  • Wear light, breathable, and form fitting apparel. Men often wear biking shorts or swim trunks.

Hot yoga tips:

  • Hydrate the day before if possible by drinking a lot of water.
  • Try to come back the next day, even if you are sore!
  • Class is not a competition. Listen to your body. If you need to take a break, that's OK. Just lie down on your mat, relax, and join the class again when you are ready.
  • Avoid eating for a couple hours before class.
  • Leave your belongings in the changing rooms and remember to take them with you when you leave.
  • Lockers are available. Please bring your own lock.

Hot yoga class etiquette

  • You can take as many breaks as you need. Just lie on your mat and then join the class whenever you are ready.
  • You receive all the detoxifying benefits of the heat just being in the room.
  • Arrive on time, as the front door may be locked after class begins.
  • Please leave your cell phone and personal belongings outside the hot room.
  • Please come to class clean and free of perfumes and scented oils. Odors of any kind are intensified in the heat and many people are sensitive to fragrances.
  • Refrain from talking once class begins. Teachers are available to answer questions before and after class.
